Here are some local voluntary sector groups that provide support and help to local residents in the community.

Inclusion, which helps anyone affected by or wanting drug or alcohol support

Alcoholics Anonymous provides help with drinking problems.  There are a number of meetings in Basingstoke, which can be found at the Alcoholics Anonymous website. 

Al Anon Family Groups UK & Eire is there for anyone whose life is or has been affected by someone else's drinking.  You can find meetings in Basingstoke at the Al Anon website

Gamblers Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to do the same.

You can find various aids for the compulsive gambler including a forum, a chat room, literature and most importantly a meeting finder here.  

Support Group

Gam Anon is for anyone who has been affected by a loved one’s gambling problem - wives, husbands, partners, siblings, children or friends.  You can find support, information and details of meetings here.
