The White Hart is a friendly pub, which boasts an unusual mezzanine area, function room and beer garden. There is reasonably priced pub food, a darts board, pool table and BT Sports. Regular events include barbecues, open mike evenings, DJ and quizzes.

The Academy Social and Sports Club is the Largest English Pool Club in the WORLD with 31 pool tables (inc Private VIP Room), 12 Snooker Tables (inc 3 Match Tables) and 12 Dart Lanes with Electronic Scorers. There is also Great Entertainment, a Large Beer Garden and ALL live Sports on Sky and BT Sports on 85 HD TVs and large HD projector screen
