Where can I find support and information?

Hampshire Healthy Families is a website that has been set up by Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Barnardo's to provide information and support to families with children of all ages in Hampshire.

The website, which was written by adults and children, includes information, advice and activities for children and teenagers:

  • Health for Under 5s provides information to support prospective parents and parents and carers of children from 0-5 years.

  • Health for Kids provides information for children to learn about staying healthy and looking after their health.  There is also a separate section for parents and teachers.

  • Health for Teens is created by and for young people, to learn and take ownership about their physical health and mental well-being.

  • Healthier Together provides information on common childhood illnesses, including advice on what "red flag" signs to look out for, where to seek help if required, what you should do to keep your child comfortable and how long your child's symptoms are likely to last.

  • ChatHealth offers a simple, convenient and confidential text messaging service for young people and parents to provide health related support.

  • Channel Mum is a "mum village" in which mums can find friendship, fun and lots of support on all things family.

  • Child immunisations enables you to register  your child on0line for school aged immunisations, if you have received a registration letter.

Hampshire Healthy Families also lists activities and events happening near you, including workshops for parents and carers.
